Good-sized and brand-new rooms with a “ private bath ” and storage space, as example, felt like home. Its location was remote, a super close walk to Nishimiya Shrine. Loved this great budget hotel, recommend.

The rooms are brand-new and large, have down pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows. The location is peaceful and nice, 1 mile from Shibu Onsen Charming Hot-Springs Resort. Moreover, it is just off the snow monkey park and Shiga Kogen and the railway station and places to eat.

The staff was best, as well as owner. The hotel's location was exceptionally nice, very close to Yudanaka train station and Jigokudani Monkey Park and snow monkey mountain. It also was in 20 minutes by property's transport.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Yamanouchi. The outdoor onsen bath was incredibly relaxing and provided a serene environment. They even offered a free shuttle service to the iconic Snow Monkey Park, which I visited two days in a row and had a blast. The spacious room with a comfy futon and the public onsen were also highlights of my stay. Additionally, the hotel went above and beyond by providing a shuttle service to the train station on the day of my departure. I highly recommend this hotel for its amenities, location, and exceptional service.

The location is convenient, it's in Yudanaka Onsen district not far from the center, and ski areas and the monkey park. The breakfast is extensive at 8:15am, had good food. The service is great, includes private parking. Thank you very much for a very very good stay - would definitely come back there.

Our stay at Hotel Housei in Yamanouchi was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, from picking us up during heavy snowfall to providing a shuttle to the nearby snow monkeys park. The spacious and well-designed room, delicious buffet breakfast and dinner, as well as the exquisite onsen experience, made our stay truly enjoyable. The location near Yudanaka station and the convenience of the shuttle to Ryuoo ski resort were a plus. We were extremely satisfied with the attentive and friendly staff.

What an amazing experience at Hotel Housei! Our first ryokan experience was unforgettable, with friendly staff, traditional kimonos, and both indoor and outdoor onsens. The small wheeled table for tea service in the room added a charming touch. The TV channels were crazy! Sitting in the hot spring water outside while snow falls was a life goal we didn't know we had. The free shuttle to the train station was a great convenience, and the old world charm of the hotel made it truly unique.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfy location very close to the snow monkey park, restaurants, convenience stores and the rail station in a very nice area. Good choice of food options within a close distance from the venue.
